The Challenge
Vallarta needed to drive traffic to their newly remodeled stores. They offered an expanded perimeter with fresh offerings like an on premise bakery, tortillas made fresh daily, meat & seafood counters, prepared foods and more.
The Ant Society developed a year round campaign to promote an increase in customer traffic and basket size. This included a full scale social media campaign with organic and paid media amplification, as well as social media calendar planning and content development. Promotional activations during key selling seasons created year round interest with promotional integrations, price offers and a video series of the tasty offerings the store offered, all supporting key fresh departments with mouth watering content.
Solution
We used food preparation videos to promote freshness and taste appeal for Vallarta products.
To convey the great shopping experience and drive traffic through social media we created year round content for events like football season and Thanksgiving.
Results
The campaign resulted in increases in store traffic, basket size, and sales of high margin fresh products. Also, social media followers doubled in the first six months of the campaign.
